BIMS complex is situated in Mohammedpur which is a thickly populated area .Its communication with other parts of country is excellent. Around the BIMS there is a good educational atmosphere. NICVD (National Institute of Cardio Vascular Disease), RIHD (Rehabilitation Institute & Hospital for Disabled), Suhrawardy Hospital , Shisu Hospital, Geriatric Hospital, Kidney Disease & Dialysis Hospital, Psychiatric Disease Hospital, Crescent Lake, National Assembly Building are the major historical components. It is only about five minutes walking distance form BIMS.
