Diploma in Medical Ultrasound (DMU)

Sessions : Two sessions in a year

Qualification:

Medical Graduate

Registered with BMDC:

Experienced candidate with sonology well get preference.

Winter session	Last date of admission	15 th December	Class start 1st January
Fall session	Last date of admission	15 th June	Class start 1st July

Syllabus: It is a twelve month course can be completed in two semester.

1st semester:

• Introduction to ultrasound
• Basic ultrasound, Physics & Instruments
• Ultrasound image of production & optimizing display
• Starting to scan
• General ultrasound

2nd semester:

• Ultrasound to abdomen
• Ultrasound to pelvis
• Color Doppler
• TVS
• Power Doppler

Course fee:

Taka 90,000/= (Ninety thousand) only for local student.
USD 2,000 (Two thousand) for foreign student.

Number of seat: 20 (Twenty) only.

Certificate will be issued by the Bangladesh Technical Education Board. Govt. of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.
